DRY-Fire Drill: MOVER SEQUENCE

Drills:

This drill-set is designed to help you with hitting targets quickly after activating a moving target. It is common for people to pull the gun off targets before they are done shooting them when they see a scenario like this in a match. Pretend that the partial target is one that you need to “race to” in order to get. Start position for all drills is wrists above your shoulders standing squarely, facing the partial.

Engage the steel target with 1 round. Engage the 2 close targets at the 90-degree angle with 2 rounds, then engage the partial target with 2 rounds. Establish your PAR time. Do not rush. After establishing your PAR time, cut .1 or .2 seconds off that PAR time for 10 repetitions. Keep going until you can’t do it. It is very important to call your shots during this drill.
